Physician Assistant

Penny graduated from Northern Montana College as an RN.  She began nursing in Great Falls and Columbus, ICU. Then General Nursing with ER Behavioral Intensive Care Unit (BICU) and worked in Baker and Glendive then moved to a nurse manager in Glendive for 10 years before returning to school. Penny then completed the Physician Assistant program at the University of North Dakota.  She has worked in Eastern Montana, predominantly Glendive and Wibaux for 25 years in Family Practice. Penny has also spent much of her time as a provider covering Urgent Care, ER, Pediatric Call and Family Planning in several areas in Eastern Montana.  Penny worked as a Locum provider in Circle off and on for several years before becoming an employee of McCone County Health Center in 2017.  Penny works at the Clinic in Circle one week out of each month since she retired from Glendive Medical Center 2 1/2 years ago.  Since her retirement from GMC, Penny has spent time traveling around the United States and exploring other countries of interest. Penny enjoys time with her daughters, grandchildren, siblings, and their spouses.
