McCone County Health Center is a Critical Access Hospital (CAH). Licensed as a 25 Swing Bed CAH, meaning we are able to provide either acute or skilled nursing facility care as needed to our rural patients. MCHC doesn't prefer to use more than 21 swing beds for our long-term care residents so swing beds are available for acute and skilled patients. MCHC also has 2 Observation beds and offers 24-hour Emergency Department services.

Radiology Department
McCone County Health Center provides on-call radiology services. Currently, our Radiology Department offers x-ray services for our facility and is able to provide x-ray services requested by other medical providers for referral appointments.
Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy services are available at McCone County Health Center. We offer contracted Out-Patient and In-Patient services. Call Rose Abubo for scheduling at (406) 485-3381.
Adult Day Care
Adult Day Care is provided through our Critical Access Hospital. This service allows people to have some relief from caring for their dependent loved ones.
Infusion Therapy
McCone County Health Center offers local cancer patients the convenience of receiving selected chemotherapy services at our facility as well as other types of IV therapy and treatment services to local post surgical patients.

Medical Equipment
Our facility has a selection of medical equipment that can be loaned out to patients at no cost. Call (406) 485-3381 for further inquiries.
Telemedicine
We facilitate telemedicine services provided by Billings Clinic in our office. This is a direct satellite link between the patient and their specialized medical provider allowing the patient advanced care without the need for travel. Please contact your specialist's office for scheduling availability.
In addition, telemedicine allows MCHC staff and our community to attend meetings, education and training on-site.
Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance is offered through the Financial Assistance Program.
Eligibility is determined by the federal poverty guidelines and is for hospital services only. Eligibility does not include clinic office visits.
